I was looking forward to Allyson and Alex’s Della Terra wedding for over a year! I have been to Della Terra before, but this was my first opportunity shooting a wedding there, and I loved it. It’s such a gorgeous venue, nestled in the Rocky Mountains. It has some of the most beautiful scenery around, and the nicest, most helpful staff! Man, has it been a rainy summer, and their wedding day was no exception. Thank goodness it eventually cleared up, and they were still able to have their ceremony outdoors, as planned. The fog over the mountain peaks, really added drama to the photos!
Allyson and Alex are a very fun couple, and their guests were equally fun! The dance floor was packed the entire time. I will never forget Allyson doing the worm in her wedding dress…it was epic! Please enjoy the photos, and check back soon for many more beautiful weddings, and some fun seniors.
Haha…I love Allyson’s friend/make-up artist’s expression as she bronzed her cleavage 😉
I loved the variety of white bouquets…so pretty!
The rain and fog rolled in…and the ceremony was delayed for about 40 minutes. Everyone remained positive though, and it cleared up for the rest of the day 🙂
Not everyone was excited about the ceremony 😉
Allyson & Alex did an awesome choreographed first dance. It was so impressive!
And then it was party time!! The staff told us they sold 300 fireball shots, so needless to say…everyone had a grand time!!
Allyson did the worm and everyone was cracking up! She was amazing!!
We snuck them out for a few nighttime shots with the fountain!
What a beautiful celebration it was Allyson & Alex! I was so happy to spend my birthday with such a great group. You are one of the most fun and gracious couples I have ever worked with. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness 🙂
