Rebecca + Christian | Mountain Engagement Photos Colorado | Peaceful Valley Ranch

Today on the blog, Rebecca and Christian’s mountain engagement photos Colorado.  We met at Peaceful Valley Ranch outside of Lyons, on a cool fall day.  Because it had just snowed, we were a little worried the changing leaves may have already fallen from the aspen trees.  Need not worry, though, we got lots of colorful trees in the background!  It was chilly, but very beautiful out there.  These two lovebirds are tying the knot in September at Wedgewood at Boulder Creek.  I have shot at this venue a few times, and am really looking forward to returning with these two.

Rebecca and I go way back.  Nothing to make you feel old like having one of your former dance students getting married!  We reconnected last summer when the dance studio we both went to was having a special alumni performance for their 30th anniversary.  Rebecca and I both danced at the recitals and it was so much fun.  Although I was one of the “old ladies” of the group (and way out of shape), I am so glad that I did it!  It sure brought back a lot of wonderful memories being on the stage again 🙂  Rebecca and Christian had recently gotten engaged so we chatted a little bit about their wedding after the show.  I really hoped I would be asked to capture their photos, so I was ecstatic when I heard from Rebecca a little while later!

Rebecca and Christian are such a sweet, loving couple, and I know their wedding will be amazing!  They are such naturals in front of the camera.  Recreating these romantic portraits once in wedding attire, is bound to be incredible 🙂  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
