Hello friends! Sneaking one more blog post in before the month is over. July has been great around here. I celebrated my 35th birthday, my 7th wedding anniversary, my 13th dating anniversary, my baby turned 4 months, and I captured lots of Colorado wedding and portrait photos 🙂 Today I am sharing some Estes Park wedding photography inspiration from my 2016 session with Nicole and Josh.
These two were married at Della Terra Mountain Chateau a few months before our session. However, they wanted to get back in their wedding attire for a lot more relaxed portrait time. I was not the photographer on their big day, but I had so much fun hanging with them on this afternoon. And boy did we get a lot of great stuff in beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park! We started at Sheep Lakes, then stopped at Moraine Park, and finally wrapped up at Sprague Lake, just before sunset.
Shooting in RMNP is always a good time! This “trash the dress”/newlywed session was definitely no exception. Nicole and Josh looked amazing in their wedding attire. I especially loved the back of her beautiful dress. It had a long, dramatic train and we were sure to show that off in the photos 🙂 Nicole even had a beautiful bouquet made for their session. The soft pinks and greens looked great against the blue mountain backdrop.

Thanks Nicole and Josh for allowing me to capture these photos for you. Wishing you a wonderful and beautiful marriage!
