If you follow my blog, there should be no question that I love engagement sessions! Sometimes, they even turn into several hour sessions, with multiple locations and numerous outfits 🙂 Not every photographer allows that, but I just get so into them, I often lose track of time. Danielle and Ted’s Evergreen and Golden, Colorado engagement photos are a great example of a session like this. They wanted some urban, city photos, some family photos with sweet Mr. Easton, and finally, some photos in the beautiful Colorado mountains. So, I made sure they got a ton of great options!
We started their Colorado engagement photography session in downtown Golden. I had done a little scouting previously for some cool walls, stairwells, and urban backdrops near the Golden Hotel. I was even lucky enough to find a vibrant red tree, that photographed beautifully, and added the perfect pop of color for their fall photos. After hanging out in Golden for awhile, we headed up the mountain a bit to the Evergreen Lake House. This is a perfect location for Colorado mountain wedding and engagement photos alike. We wrapped their shoot with some steamy kissing photos, sipping adult beverages, and snuggling under a blanket. The weather was great, and it was a perfect end to an amazing Colorado fall week!
