Two entries in one week…I am on a roll!! Today’s post is Eren and Jeremy’s Estes Park engagement pictures in Rocky Mountain National Park. I would have loved to share these sooner, since these two already got married over a month ago. However, I have been super busy with the little man, and several weddings and portrait sessions.
For Eren and Jeremy’s mountain engagement session we met at Sheep Lakes. I intended to spend a lot more time at this location (because it’s a favorite), but the wind was insane! Since these two were in town for a limited amount of time, and we had already paid for a photography permit in the park, we had to make this day work. I am so glad we stuck it out because this sunny, winter afternoon photographed beautifully. This gorgeous pair only added to the jaw-dropping backdrop! We left Sheep Lakes after a short time and stopped at several other spots along the way to our final destination, Sprague Lake.
Oh how I loved working with this wonderful couple for both their engagement photos, as well as their wedding. They are gracious, sweet, lovely, photogenic and so in love 🙂 They were up for anything on this day, and trusted me completely. It made the session easy-going and a lot of fun! They didn’t even lose their cool when one of their parents’ vehicles got (temporarily) stuck in the icy snow. Obviously the shoot wasn’t without a few hiccups, but we all loved the results nonetheless!

If you would like to book your own Colorado mountain engagement photos, contact me now! Fall is almost upon us, and it’s definitely the busiest time of year for portrait sessions. I still have some weekend dates open though, and I would love to pencil you into one of them 🙂
Keep checking back often, and I will continue to share lots of sessions and weddings with you. Including Eren and Jeremy’s beautiful July Lionscrest Manor wedding…it was nothing short of AH-mazing!
