Best of 2017 Couples & Engagements | Colorado Engagement Pictures

2017 is officially over! It definitely had some very high points for me, like having my sweet boy at the end of March. As well as all of the fun milestones that came along with him. It was a transitional year for my business, but a year that taught me a lot, nonetheless. I hope to book more sessions and weddings in 2018, as I better manage the balance between my business and being a parent. Here are photos of the wonderful couples that I got to work with in 2017. These are some of my favorite Colorado engagement pictures and married couples photos that I was able to capture this year. I can’t lie…couples photos are my favorite! I love documenting people in love. Also, couples sessions usually don’t have any time constraints, like weddings do either. We are able to do a lot of different poses. Often multiple locations and multiple outfits, as well!

I started my 2017 Colorado engagement pictures in beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park with Lisa and David. It was a snowy, winter session, and it was freezing…but definitely magical 🙂 The beautiful poppy field brought me back to Estes for a few couples sessions, during the summer. I headed up to Breckenridge for some epic mountain views during Hillary and Chance’s Colorado engagement pictures. I took a little break from the mountains to capture Denver engagement photos for Allyson & Chris, which included the always popular Larimer Square at night. The final 4 couples sessions of the year took me to Boulder County. A few vibrant and colorful fall sessions with the changing leaves made my “color loving” heart flutter! Finally, capturing Boulder engagement photos beneath the stunning flatirons for 2 of my 2018 wedding couples, wrapped up the awesome season of love perfectly!
