One more blog post from these fall portraits I captured with some lovely Dance Dimensions‘ students. Meet Jessica! She is actually just finishing up her sophomore year in Windsor. Could have fooled me though…doesn’t she look so much more mature for her age?! For these Boulder County senior photos inspiration we met up at the beautiful Lyons, Colorado location, Hall Ranch. This was my second time at this location, and I will definitely be back 🙂 It’s a super pretty and super convenient location in the Colorado foothills. Especially this time of year, there was so much nice golden and yellow colors in the surrounding trees. There are also gorgeous mountain views, and even a few small red rock formations. It certainly offers a great variety of backdrops and scenery.
Hopefully these photos give you an idea of how awesome a fall senior session can be in colorful Colorado! I know most people get their photos done in the summer, which is great too. But why not stand out from the crowd and get your photos done in a different season? I will have many more examples of “off-season” senior sessions in the coming months, so check the blog often. I did a few winter ice castles sessions earlier this year. As well as some very recent (including another one later today) spring sessions amongst the vibrant blooming trees and vibrant lilac bushes.
After some nice, pretty fall portraits, she switched into her leotard and pointe shoes and we got a few fun dance photos as well.

Enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by the blog today! Wishing all of the mamas out there a very happy mother’s day 🙂 We are having a picnic with my mother-in-law (weather dependent), and then stopping by my parents’ house. Hopefully my husband is planning something for my second mother’s day as well. We shall see!
