Nicole + Brian | Denver Engagement Portraits | City Couples Photography

Meet Nicole and Brian…one of my lovely 2019 wedding couples! Their engagement session was definitely not lacking in color (which I LOOOOVE!), or in smiles, laughter and love. This fun little block of colorful buildings is a popular photo location in Denver. But because it’s not within walking distance of other downtown hot spots, it had been several years since I had taken photos here. When I mentioned it to Nicole and Brian while chatting about possible locations, they were game! Rather than ending our session here, like we did for Kim and Ian’s Denver engagement portraits, we started here first.

Next, we headed over to the always popular Millennium Bridge area, and walked to a bunch of fun, urban spots from there. We even managed to find a few lingering blossoming trees, in the heart of the city. The last trace of spring, that brought some nature to their photos as well! And you know me…it wouldn’t be a Plum Pretty Photography Denver engagement photography session without some nighttime photos beneath the lights of Larimer Square 🙂 After about 3 hours and probably 1,100 photos shot, it was a wrap on an awesome session! These two had previously had winter engagement photos taken with our mutual friend, Kendra. Needless to say, they are not going to have a shortage of couple’s photos for their save-the-dates and wedding decor.

Brian’s truck is very important to him, so we just had to include it in some photos! Plus, it went perfectly with the green on this brick wall.

When we spotted this bar with 303 in lights, we just knew we needed to stop for some photos. See, these two are getting married on March 3rd…3/03! How perfect is that?!
