Kian-Class of 2019 | Northern Colorado Senior Portraits | Skyline High School

Kian is one of the few young men that got in front of my camera this year for his northern Colorado senior portraits. With a girly business brand, I don’t book a ton of male senior sessions. Unless, of course, I know the client’s mother. That was the case here. I have known Kian’s mom, Brooke, since elementary school. I even did their family photos over at Lone Hawk Farms about 3 years back. Kian has grown up a ton since then! And it seems like he nearly doubled in height 😉 The whole family came along to this session as well, so it was great to catch up. And we even snapped a few with his little bro!

We met up at Coot Lake for his Skyline High School senior pictures. No surprise there haha…it’s definitely one of my go to Longmont locations. But it’s such an easy walk, on a flat trail. There are mountain and lake views, golden open fields, rustic fences, a lot of trees, and a cool, little wooden bridge. It offers a lot of variety in a relatively small area. That allows for quick outfit changes, and a lot of great variety in the finished photos as well.

A cool sky, with clouds like this, just calls for a silhouette shot!
