Jessie and Andrew are definitely up there in the running for my favorite clients ever! I don’t think I could ever pick just one favorite couple, though. I have had the pleasure of working with so many great people over the years 🙂 Jessie and Andrew were referred by my photographer friend, Kendra (who has since referred two other couples as well…talk about amazing people!). These two were so gracious and lovely to work with. I am not surprised they had 500 guests at their DoubleTree Greeley wedding. Because everyone that meets them, loves them!
I started my day at James Salon in Greeley with Jessie and her ladies. They did an amazing job on her hair and make-up, Jessie looked stunning, in her whole bridal look! I especially loved her sparkly cowgirl boots. Andrew and his guys cleaned up very nicely too. The blue tuxes with coral ties and pocket squares were very complimentary.
Some of my favorite parts of Jessie and Andrew’s day were the bride’s entourage’s custom flannels. Everyone does robes, this was a cute, creative idea. I also loved the hilarious “first touch”, and the emotional, tear-filled mother-son dance. The reception was a complete blast! Like when the bride and groom smashed the cake into their flower girl’s face, instead of each others. Finally, the wild dance party…especially during Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places”!
Jessie and Andrew did not want to see each other before the ceremony, but opted to do a “first touch”. And touch he did LOL!! He went for the booty, and we all had a good laugh 🙂
Across the street from the DoubleTree Greeley is a spacious park, Lincoln Park. This was a great backdrop for our wedding portraits. The park has lush trees, some nice rose bushes, a cool fountain, and some architectural structures.
I am so glad that I spotted this little patch of sunflowers, I just love these shots. And it gave some nice variety to the photos!
This cool, urban graffiti wall of Albert Einstein made for a fun backdrop as well 🙂
The DoubleTree is a new hotel. It’s nice and modern, and accommodates a huge guest list. I sure enjoyed shooting here, and hope to be back again 🙂
With so many fire bans around our state, I don’t often get to do nighttime sparkler writing photos. But there wasn’t one in Weld County at this time, and we were all so glad about that! We would have been bummed to not end up with a unique shot like this 🙂

Thank you again, Jessie and Andrew for being so fun to work with! So appreciative, kind, joyful, and your love shines right through in the photos <3 I look forward to working together again in the future. Coming to the blog next, another Greeley session. So funny, because I rarely shoot in Greeley. Next, is Cassie and Jason’s maternity session in their own backyard. What a gorgeous mama-to-be, so be sure to check back!
