Grace + Charles | Longmont Engagement Pictures | Carnival Engagement Photography

For years I have wanted to do a couple’s session at the carnival. So when I saw the one being set up at the Longmont Fairgrounds, I knew I needed to make it happen! It was SUCH a busy time of the summer, but I knew I would regret it if I didn’t 🙂 I put out a model call, and selected Grace and Charles for this session. I hope this brings others inspiration for planning their own Longmont engagement pictures. You don’t always have to do the normal, pretty mountains or open field with flowers. Themed sessions can be really unique…and really fun! And you know me, I LOVE color. So the fair is the perfect place for tons of that!

I had met Grace a few times in the past. She is friends with some of my past wedding couples, Alli and Carlos and Alyssa and Dustin. They are a really sweet, married couple, that I am glad to have had the opportunity to get in front of my camera. The fair was, of course, insanely busy! That created some challenges! One women even yelled at me “don’t take my picture”! We made the best of it, and still got some fun shots! We were sure to take advantage of the rides that were closed too. That was actually kind of nice, because we didn’t have to worry about random people in the background.
