Carolina + Edgar | Sapphire Point Wedding Photos | Colorado Winter Wedding

Carolina and Edgar were visiting Vail for a quick “mini moon” after their Texas December wedding. They will have a much longer, tropical honeymoon over the summer. Since Texas isn’t exactly known as a winter wonderland, they decided to bring their wedding attire along for some wedding portraits in the snow. We met up in Breckenridge for these epic Sapphire Point wedding photos. Don’t let that sun fool you though…It.Was.Cold!! In some of the photos you can even see their breath too 😉 Needless to say we didn’t make it for too long. But no need. We got some amazing stuff quickly. It was easy with these two beautiful people!

Carolina found me on Instagram, and I am so glad she did! It was a bit of a last minute shoot, but we sure made it work 🙂 Carolina is a latin singer/performer…how cool is that? She is one of the most sought-after performers for Spanish-language events in the southwest United States according to Mary Collins Agency. She was completely natural in front of the camera because of this performing experience. Edgar sure loves his bride, and was a trooper getting back in his wedding attire to make her snowy wishes come true!

What a perfect winter bride! I loved that Carolina’s ensemble was a showstopper, but wasn’t too over-the-top. Such a beautiful “blingy” tiara, and belt, that both complimented her ballgown beautifully. And then that fur shawl not only kept her warm, but was the icing on the cake for a complete winter bridal look 🙂

This is definitely one of my favorite Sapphire Point wedding photos! Such a sweet connection between these two, gorgeous blue skies, mountain views, and a touch of golden sunshine. And talk about a beautiful couple!

Oh how I love a long veil! They are so much fun to play with, and I always end up loving the photos. I sure wish I hadn’t forgotten my veil for our own wedding photos. I had it for the ceremony, but meant to rock it for our bride and groom portraits too!
