Sasha-Class of 2019 | Boulder Colorado Senior Portraits | Pearl Street Mall Photos

Another session with the lovely Sasha! We met up at the always popular, colorful brick wall near Pearl Street Mall, for her Boulder Colorado senior portraits. While I loved her spring session a ton, this one totally rocked my socks off! For this session, in addition to many urban senior photos, Sasha also put on her pointe shoes and we captured some Colorado dance photography. You know me, I am a former dancer and dance teacher. I absolutely love dance, and working with dancers. In fact, I loved some of the dance images enough to submit them to the annual Shoot & Share photography competition. I am excited to see how they place here in a week or so when the results are released.

We scheduled Sasha’s second senior session, before I even had a chance to photograph other reps for a first time. But she was off to New York City for an intensive dance program for two weeks. We wanted to squeeze this in before she left. With busy schedules it ended up being the night before she left! But good thing we did…because they turned out amazing. And although it was pretty humid for Colorado, it was a beautiful evening.

This has got to be my favorite “photo bomb” ever! This guy cracked me up! This is one of the images I entered into the Shoot & Share photography competition mentioned above. The category “That Just Happened” is basically for bloopers or comical, candid photos. I have not yet found out it’s final ranking, but I know it did make the top 100 photos in the category. That’s out of 6100 photos in that category! So at least the top 1% of the photos in the category…yippee 😉

Sasha and I were both on a mission to find this wall pink and purple striped wall! Good thing it is so popular, because I was able to do some googling and find the location. It was many blocks from the shopping area of Pearl Street, but good thing we found many awesome stops along the way too.

Thanks again, Sasha, for being part of my senior rep team and representing Silver Creek High School! It was a true honor having you in front of my camera *five* times over the past few years. All the best to you in California after high school <3 I know there are great things in your future. Always keep that sweet, positive attitude, that beautiful smile, and the love for dance in your heart! I hope you will enjoy these Boulder Colorado senior portraits for many years to come.
