Way back in the day, 2013, I think it was, Tina Joiner Photography and I met at a wedding workshop in Omaha, Nebraska. We were both in the infancy of our photography careers. We have stayed in touch since then, and I consider her a dear friend. She has had me along to second shoot a handful of times, and it’s always a lot of fun! Caitlyn and Adam’s BlueSky Breckenridge wedding was certainly no exception 🙂 Of all the weddings I have done in Breckenridge, this one was very unique. Largely because the ceremony took place in a tiny, local church. We also took a bunch of photos downtown, on a gorgeous fall day. That was busy, and a touch crazy, but really neat too. The couple climbed onto an old stationery chairlift for some photos too…what troopers in their fancy wedding attire!
As with my other second shooting gigs, I spent a majority of the day with the gentlemen. Therefore, no getting ready photos of the ladies, or any bridesmaids photos will appear in this blog post. But I still wanted to share here, since I captured a bunch of great photos throughout the course of Caitlyn and Adam’s fall Breckenridge wedding. Some of my favorite parts of their day were all the stunning fall foliage everywhere we turned! Venturing to Sawmill Reservoir and practically having the whole place to ourselves! The unique wooden teepee at the BlueSky Breckenridge wedding venue. And finally, the photos on the chairlift were a fun added perk 🙂
And we were off to Sawmill Reservoir! The shuttle driver actually told us about this location, and it was great. I am so excited to know about it’s existence for future Breckenridge wedding or portrait sessions.
Then we headed to the little creek in downtown Breckenridge for some additional couple’s portraits.
The honey wedding favors were really adorable, and looked absolutely delicious! I need to try that raspberry one…yum!!
Thanks Tina for having me along for this super fun day! If you are looking for your own Breckenridge Colorado wedding photographer, let’s chat soon. I would love to be the person to tell your unique wedding story through my images, and make them a family heirloom you will cherish for your lifetime together!
For another of my favorite Breckenridge Colorado weddings, check out Candice and Marshall’s beautiful summer wedding HERE 🙂 I don’t think there is a single bad place to shoot up in summit county! It’s such a gorgeous area, and quickly becoming my favorite Colorado mountain location.
