Madelyn-Class of 2019 | Denver Colorado Senior Photos | RINO District

Hey friends, thanks for stopping by! Firstly, today I am bringing you another session with the lovely miss Madelyn. If you missed the first of her Erie High School senior pictures, check them out HERE. Wow, was that session hard to beat! I absolutely loved all of the spring flowers, and that great pink dress Madelyn wore. Somehow though, these Denver Colorado senior photos just may have topped the spring ones. For many years I have wanted to do photos in the RINO district of Denver. Also known as the River North Art District. It is a hip and trendy area of Denver known for all of the colorful murals and amazing graffiti art. Madelyn was looking for something urban, and this fit the bill perfectly!

We first met up at the Denver Milk Market. Neither of us really knew where we were going, however, we had a great time just wandering the streets and alleyways in both directions from here. We stopped about 30 times…a few shots against this cool wall, a few shots against that cool wall! Anytime we felt inspired we made a quick stop 🙂 It was great that Madelyn went really simple with her clothing choices. Normally I am all about the colors. But with all of the color on the murals and graffiti walls, it just may have been overkill. This way we didn’t have to worry about her clothing “clashing” with murals/artwork that we really liked and wanted to shoot against.

This image right here was a finalist in the recent Shoot and Share photography competition 🙂 It placed 202/39,136 images in the “teens and seniors” category. Woo hoo…pretty proud of that! So, that is the top 0.5% of all of the images in the category.

One of the best things about the RINO district is that it’s ever-changing! Now, I don’t know how often things are repainted, maybe on a yearly basis, if I had to guess. I have not been back to shoot there since Madelyn’s Denver Colorado senior photos. However, I do know a lot of it has been repainted since then 😉 RINO is such a unique, neat place in the heart of downtown Denver. In addition, it celebrates art and local artists, which is a truly wonderful thing!
