Hey friends…I’m back! Sorry it’s been nearly 5 months since my last post. Busy season got the best of me. I am caught up on editing now, so let blogging season begin 😉 First up, Hannah and James’ Lionscrest Manor Colorado wedding photos.
Hannah first learned of my business through some mutual friends at Dance Dimensions. That is my former dance studio, where I grew up dancing, and where I also taught for 7 years. And where I recently returned to take the adult hip hop class. It’s been a lot of fun coming back, but I am sure out of shape compared to my teenage self lol! Anyway, Hannah briefly danced at Dance Dimensions, as well. She was friends with some of the owners/teachers on social media, and she saw some of my work as a result. I am so, so glad she did! These two were just wonderful to work with. And they are an absolutely stunning couple to boot!
Because James is in the military, and very busy, I didn’t get a chance to meet these two until their wedding day. They were totally lovely and pleasant to work with though, and it made the entire day a true pleasure. Also because he’s in the military, James had a very limited timeframe to take a honeymoon. They had to go right from their Lionscrest Manor Colorado wedding reception to the airport. Because of this Hannah changed out of her wedding gown, and into a stunning, form-fitting white dress for their grand exit. She would probably look gorgeous in a paper bag though 😉
Some of my favorite parts of Hannah and James’ wedding day included the saber arch at the end of their wedding ceremony. As well as their amazing dessert table and candy bar at the reception, and the jam-packed, lively dance floor. Reception coverage can get boring if the dance floor is empty. So not the case here…what a blast! The groom even did a backflip! I also loved their memorable streamer exit. The energy of the guests was sky-high and the shiny streamers looked so cool on camera.
I know I say it every time I blog photos from a Lionscrest Manor Colorado wedding, but I sure love this venue! It is so beautiful…a true picturesque Colorado venue! It’s also full of convenient photo “vignettes”. From the rock formations with mountains in the background, to the old pickup truck, a water fountain, mature trees, a stone staircase, and on and on. It’s also incredibly convenient for me. It’s nice to not always have to travel to Summit or Grand County for my mountain weddings. The staff is always helpful and professional…it’s a very well-oiled machine 🙂
Gorgeous couple on a mountaintop during their sunny Lionscrest Manor Colorado wedding. Does it get any better than that?
From the bottom of my heart, Hannah and James, thank you for trusting me to capture your most special day! I loved every minute of your wedding, and won’t soon forget it. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
Thanks everyone that took the time to stop by my blog, and check out my work. I’ve got seemingly endless amounts of photos to share with you all, until the next busy season arrives. I hope you will check back often! If you are planning your own dream wedding, I would love to chat with you about your wedding day photography needs. I have a handful of 2020 dates remaining. It’s going to be a great year…personally and professionally! I will be taking a dream vacation to Greece for my 10 year wedding anniversary, and we have our 20 year class reunion too. For my business, I am looking forward to working with many engaged couples from Breckenridge to Fort Collins, attending an exciting Silverthorne lighting workshop, and I am sure lots of portrait sessions in between. Thanks for your continued support of my little business.
