Happy (belated) Valentine’s Day! Did you do anything fun with that special someone? We took it pretty easy, because I have been horribly sick this week. I am still kind of miserable, and even rescheduled my session for this afternoon. No fun! Well, if you happened to get engaged on Valentine’s Day, I would love to chat with you about your dream wedding plans 🙂 Click the “contact” button now. Or you may email me at plumprettyphoto@gmail.com. On the blog today, my last post full of Sand Dunes Colorado wedding inspiration. This was from the styled shoot I did last spring, with some fellow Colorado lady photographers.
Brittany and Eric are super sweet (and totally adorable) newlyweds, that modeled for our shoot. They were total naturals in front of the camera. Even while having numerous cameras in their faces simultaneously! If you would like to see the first blog post with the engagement photography portion of my time with this couple, click HERE.
To say this day at the Great Sand Dunes National Park was epic would be a huge understatement!
Really, it couldn’t have gone any better. Oh wait…I guess there was one thing that was terrible. I had been fighting this horrendous cold, and was hacking like crazy the entire day. Very much like I am feeling today. I swear, my immune system kind of sucks. I wish I could swap with my husband…he almost never gets sick! While that cold was unpleasant, it was so worth it to fight through for these incredible images  We also dealt with some wind, but that’s basically unavoidable at this location. The rain had us a bit worried too, but it mostly held off…and we got some crazy cool skies as a result!
I love all of the photos captured on this day. But this is definitely one of my favorites of these Sand Dunes Colorado wedding portraits! The sand, mountains, dramatic sky, and the stunning couple…swoon!

Enjoy your weekend, all! Next week on the blog, I am sharing a sweet family’s spring Longmont photography session from Old Mill Park. As well as a couple’s session from my first visit to another epic Colorado location…the Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction. Check back soon, lots of good stuff to come 🙂
