Today on the blog I am sharing Taylor’s Erie senior portraits. Taylor really wanted photos in flower fields…and I think I totally delivered! Not only did I find a small sunflower field (where I also captured some shots of Louisa), but I also found this light purple flower field and some large patches of white flowers too. After getting a ton of flower pictures, we also stopped at the trails behind the Buffalo Ridge Medical Center for some variety. This location has a bridge, some golden fields of long grasses, ponds, and mature trees.
Taylor was fun to work with and she was a natural in front of the camera. She was easy-going, polite, took direction really well, and has a joyful smile! I was thrilled with the images that we got. Especially the ones in the little field of light purple flowers. I think that is actually Russian Sage, but it really photographed like the gorgeous lavender fields of Palisade, Colorado. So happy to find a spot like this, virtually in my backyard! This really isn’t even a true “field”, it’s just a large section of flowers on the side of the road. But if you photograph it correctly, it looks a lot more expansive. She did get stung by a bee, and I felt awful about that. She was a trooper and assured me she was ok. Hopefully the images were worth the pain.
This is definitely one of my favorites from Taylor’s Erie senior portraits…the colors, the sun in her hair, the movement! Love it!
It’s never too early to start thinking about your class of 2023 senior photos! I captured over 50 high school senior sessions this past year. It was busy, busy! Don’t wait until August or September to book your session, as dates fill up quickly. May and June are very quiet in terms of senior photography for my business. If you planned early, you could have your pick from a ton of open dates 🙂
Coming to the blog next, Jessica and Dave’s gorgeous wedding at the Mountain View Ranch by Wedgewood Weddings. We even had a moose spotting! I hope you will check back soon.
