Hi friends! Is it the weekend yet? I am sure ready for it…they always go too fast. Today on my blog I am bringing you the lovely Sierra. We went to two different local parks for her Lyons senior photography session. We started at the Lavern M. Johnson Park. This is such a great location! It offers views of large rock formations (even some you can sit on), a beautiful river, a bridge, and even some wildflowers during summer. Sierra wore two cute outfits at this location. First cropped jeans, an off-shoulder coral top, and aqua sandals. Then she changed into a white lacy dress and a dark jean jacket. Her clothing fit well while sitting, standing and moving, which is something I definitely recommend to all of my clients. After playing around in the river, sitting on the giant rock wall, and laying in the grass, we decided to move to another nearby location.
At Bohn Park Sierra rocked the prom dress from her junior year, and she looked incredible! So many of my favorites came from this portion of the photoshoot. Sierra’s vibrant red dress really popped against all the greenery and earthy brown tones around. It twirled and moved beautifully and looked so good against her tan skin. I haven’t shot at Bohn Park very much, but I should probably change that! It’s a really great location as well. I really liked the curved wooden bridge that Sierra showed me. She also walked around barefoot in a little pond, and in the mountain river. In that red dress of course…so those turned out pretty gorgeous if I do say so myself!
This is definitely one of my favorites from Sierra’s Lyons senior photography session…she looks so fierce!
Sierra, I hope your senior year was absolutely wonderful and a year you will never forget! I hope life is treating you well these days. Hopefully you are still finding opportunities to play in the river and lay in fields of flowers (when it’s warmer out of course). That will keep you young at heart 😊 On the blog next, a sunrise engagement session at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. I don’t get up that early for just anyone LOL! These two were awesome clients, just like Sierra.
