Here is part 2 of this epic day of engagement portraits with Gabriela and Wisman. What an amazing sand dunes CO engagement session…so worth the drive! This location never seems to disappoint. It was especially beautiful this particular evening with the great golden hour lighting. Again, they kept things pretty simple as far as outfits go. One outfit each. Wisman wore a suit jacket here and there to give some variety and make some of the shots a little dressier. Gabriela wore a similar dress to her outfit from the morning session at Garden of the Gods. It fit her beautifully, flowed nicely, and the royal blue color really popped against all the sand. This portion of the session was a little longer than the morning one. When they decided on Colorado for their engagement session, this was the number one location they wanted!
Gabriela and Wisman may be use to a lot of sand, being from Florida. But they wanted something really different than what all their friends and family in Florida could get for their own photography sessions. They chose the Great Sand Dunes National Park and invited some of their closest friends along for a fun mini vacation in colorful Colorado!
This is definitely one of my favorites from their sand dunes CO engagement portraits…such a fun and joyful moment!
An outtake for some comedic relief! That would be my child LOL! Don’t worry, I won’t bring him along to your session. He and my husband decided to make a weekend of it with me, and we stayed in a hotel in Southern Colorado. He and my husband hiked and played on the dunes for the majority of the shoot, but then my son wanted to join in one photo and Gabriela and Wisman obliged.
A double thank you Gabriela and Wisman for two unforgettable engagement sessions in Southern Colorado. You were some of those clients that remind me why I love this job so much! I wish you many years of happiness together.
