Happy Friday all! Today on the blog, Kirsten and Garrett’s rustic Colorado wedding photography. Their wedding was beautiful and so special. It was on Garrett’s family’s private land in Platteville. This was so nice because this was only about 15 minutes from my home, plus the scenery was great! There was fall foliage, large mature trees all around, and a nice stream running through it. They had a large tent set up for the reception. The couple and their guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, dessert and dancing the night away!
Some of my favorite parts of Kirsten and Garrett’s wedding day included the horse drawn carriage. That made such a magical, “fairytalesque” entrance into the ceremony. As well as made an amazing photo opp for wedding party and couple’s portraits alike. I also loved the beautiful ceremony spot beneath the trees. The amazing, colorful sunset…a symphony of oranges and pinks across the sky was the picture perfect ending to their photography session. Finally, I loved the sweet and emotional moments of the day. Including Kirsten and her daughter embracing during the ceremony, and tears of joy flowing during the father-daughter dance. What a great end to a great wedding season!
This is definitely one of my favorites from their stunning fall wedding!
Thank you for stopping by the blog. This is the last of my 2020 weddings for your viewing pleasure. Can’t wait to share all of the great weddings that 2021 brought as well. You can always keep up with my more recent work over on Facebook. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! I have had over 3 weeks off from shooting. So looking forward to a busy weekend of sessions. A snowy engagement session at Echo Lake and a maternity session at Hudson Gardens. Look for those sneak peeks on Facebook soon!
