Hey peeps! Next on the blog, Alexis’ class of 2022 Boulder CO senior portraits. I made a bunch of suggestions, but she settled on Betasso Preserve for her senior session. I hadn’t been to this location in years, it’s a great spot! Betasso Preserve offers mountain views, open fields, lots of trees for a forest feel, and rustic fences. Alexis was a sweet young lady, and hopes to have a future involving music. We incorporated her guitar as well as some of her favorite records into her photos. As I have mentioned, I always love these details, they make the session that much more personal.
Alexis selected two outfits for her senior session. First she started out in a white crop top and denim bell bottoms. Very 70s inspired! This was very neutral, but worked with any backdrop. Next, she had a fuchsia, floral summer dress and some strappy, wedge shoes. That outfit was especially cute on her. This dress was a great pop of color against the golden grasses, all of the trees, and against the expansive mountain views.
This is definitely one of my favorites of Alexis’ Boulder CO senior portraits. Pretty young lady in a field with her guitar and that gorgeous golden hour light. I just love it!
Alexis, thank you, thank you! I hope you are enjoying adult life after high school. You and your family were so wonderful to work with. I hope you continue with your passion and love for music. Trust me, art can make for a very satisfying career 🙂 Maybe not the easiest career path…but so rewarding!
