Only a year late sharing these…oy! Better late than never though. I just get so busy! Today I am bringing you Alison and Kade’s Fort Collins engagement photography session. I love all of the variety we got during their session. We started in Old Town Fort Collins, and walked all over. Ivy walls, wall murals, staircases, and even an “umbrella alley”, we covered it all. All the colors and textures of this downtown, urban area were so fun to work with. Alison and Kade are such a joyful and photogenic couple too! They were so wonderful to work with. For this first location they both opted for jeans. Alison wore a black top with a lacy, mustard colored kimono (cardigan…duster…what should I call it?!) over top. I especially loved her adorable, strappy wedges. Kade looked great too in black jeans and a navy blue botton down shirt.
After a ton of photos in the Old Town area, we headed over to Riverbend Ponds Natural Area. This is one of my favorite Fort Collins spots to capture the fall foliage. At our second location Alison and Kade made a quick outfit change. They both kept it fairly casual again with jeans. Alison changed into a long sleeve brick red top. A great fall choice! Kade also went for long sleeves, with a nice gray button down shirt. I think their outfit choices were great…and timeless! The clothing complimented our backdrops very well.
But enough about the clothing! This couple has such a nice, comfortable ease between them. They are both very chill and sweet people, but they still have a lot of fun together too. There were a lot of laughs throughout our session. I look forward to sharing their Lionscrest Manor wedding images here on the blog as well, in the coming months.

This is one of my favorites from their Fort Collins engagement photography session. Gotta love that golden hour lighting, sweet couple, and beautiful fall foliage. If only those fall colors would last a little longer around here!

Alison and Kade, I cannot thank you enough for this fun evening! And for trusting Plum Pretty Photography to capture not only your engagement portraits, but also your wedding photos. You are truly an awesome couple, and I would love to work together again someday. Enjoy married life to the fullest!
