Happy Halloween friends! Are you dressing up today? I am not really, just a jack-o’-latern sweatshirt. But my kiddo is dressed as Pete the Cat for his school’s festivities. Before heading out for trick or treating I am sharing these family photos in Breckenridge with you all. This group was a a really fun bunch! We met up at Sapphire Point for these blended and extended family portraits. Also making a quick stop over at the open field near Windy Point Campground. I really like the outfits they chose for their family session…especially the ladies! They had a plaid, burgundy, and black theme that worked beautifully against the snow-capped mountains.
In past years I have felt like I was up in Summit County all the time! The drive (especially I-70) can definitely take a toll on a person over time. I have been more selective with the sessions up there more recently. But even when the drive is frustrating, it’s almost always worth it to work with some great visiting families with that jaw-dropping scenery! This family was visiting from Texas and wanted to capture these lasting memories in the mountains. I am sure glad they picked me for the task!
After a bunch of photos at Sapphire Point, we headed down the road to Windy Point Campground.
As you can see, we had a lot of fun and tons of laughs! Such a great looking group too. Are you ready to schedule your own photo session in the Colorado mountains? Email me at plumprettyphoto@gmail.com and let’s get you on the calendar. Wishing you a safe and happy Halloween! Check back frequently in November, I have seemingly endless amounts of sessions and weddings to share here on the blog.
