A new month, a new blog post! Here is sweet Miss Audrey. We went to the Lavern M. Johnson Park for her Lyons senior photos last fall. I love when high schools have a little bit later yearbook deadline, as it allows their students to incorporate the fall foliage into their session (if they choose to). When the deadline is early September, they are limited to having a summer photo shoot. Or spring I suppose, if they are really on top of their game and plan way ahead!
I loved working with Audrey. She is kind, soft-spoken, a little quirky, and beautiful. And can we talk about that amazing red hair! I definitely love photographing a redhead! Audrey selected four outfits for her session. She started out in dark gray jeans and a long sleeve black and white striped top. Complete with some yellow converse, which she sported with each of the four looks. Next, she dressed up a little with a short sleeve magenta dress. It went well against all of the yellows and greens of the foliage. Audrey’s third outfit was a feminine v-neck top with dark green corduroy pants. Finally, the dark gray cropped jeans ago. This time paired with a fun, metallic tank. She definitely got a ton of variety!
This is definitely one of my favorites of these Lyons senior photos. In fact, it was featured by Inspiring Teen Magazine on Instagram. I love the mix of summer and fall color palettes here, with the light purple russian sage (summer) mixed with the vibrant orange smooth sumac (fall).
Audrey, thank you so very much! I hope you are doing so great since graduating from high school. On the blog tomorrow, Alexis and Roy’s winter wonderland couple’s session from Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Alexis had the most amazing burgundy, velvet gown. It was a show-stopper! Totally worth braving the cold…check back soon 🙂
