Today on the blog I am sharing Lexi’s Colorado hockey senior pictures. First, I had a badass female wrestler with Tasha, and now a female hockey player. So cool…I love it! We met up at Golden Ponds Nature Area in Longmont for these fall photos. It was a beautiful evening, and we ended up with a ton of great stuff. Lexi kept it pretty simple with just a few outfits. She wore black pants throughout. For the majority of the photos she wore a trendy black and blue flannel. For some photos she put on her Lady Rough Riders hockey jersey. She also brought along a hockey puck, sticks, and gloves. We incorporated those into a bunch of the photos. Unlike many schools, Mead High School does allow props for the yearbook photo. So Lexi was able to select a shot for the yearbook that really represented her individuality.
We lucked out with perfect weather for Lexi’s session. Plus there was some vibrant, fall foliage all over the nature area. We took advantage of all of the best photo opps that Golden Ponds offers. Including the waterfall, ponds, distant mountain views, fences, and bridges. We called it a wrap…what a great session!

This is definitely one of my favorites from these Colorado hockey senior pictures. Even though Lexi is not looking at the camera, it’s such a strong shot.

That was such a fun session, thanks Lexi! I got to work with the best clients for the class of 2023. I cannot wait to see what this senior season for the class of 2024 has in store for me too. Lexi, all the best in the future. I hope you “stick” with hockey for many years to come, as I know what an important part of your life it is. See what I did there?! Stick LOL! Like a hockey stick! Ok, that was pretty bad 😉 Next on the blog, another fall session. That one was the awesome Venturella family from their session at Bohn Park in Lyons.
