The Stone Family | Longmont Colorado Fall Family Photography | Idaho Creek Park

Happy March…yay, spring will be here soon! This winter has been kinda brutal. My first post of the new month is the lovely Stone family. Taking it back to much warmer days for their Colorado fall family photography session at the Idaho Creek Open Space Park. I have worked with this family a few times over the years. But we have had even more interaction over the years. My son, and their daughter Juna, first met in preschool. Now they go to the same school for kindergarten. Although they are not in the same classroom. They were also on the same soccer team twice now. One of those teams, Juna’s dad, Joey was actually our coach. They are a cool family, and it’s always great capturing photos for them!

I know Casey was stressing a bit about what they should all wear for their session. It’s one of the toughest things when preparing for a family photography session. But, as you can see, she knocked it out of the park! They all looked great, not matchy matchy! Grays, tans, and pinks tied them all together. There was enough color to not be boring in anyway, but not too much to clash with the colorful fall foliage backdrop. We captured photos by multiple ponds, in front of a colorful tree grove, on the bridge, and with the downed tree “bench”. I love the variety we were able to capture during a quick mini session.

This is one of my favorites from their Colorado fall family photography session. Candid, in-between moments can be really great too!

Thanks Stone family! I hope you love these photos, and will cherish them for years to come. I would love to have future opportunities to work together. Next on the blog, taking it back to Evergreen again for Even and Jeremy’s belated anniversary couple’s session with their dogs. It was so great to catch up with this couple 5+ years after capturing their Lionscrest Manor wedding images. I am SO close to getting caught up on my blog. This has not happened in several years! Only 9 more sessions to go…woo hoo!
