Cortnee and Caleb + 1 on the way | Loveland Maternity Photos | Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park

One of the very best parts of my job is working with couples over and over again, for all of the major milestones in their lives. I have photographed Cortnee and Caleb multiple times. First for their engagement portraits in Fort Collins. Then for their 2020 covid “micro wedding”, and their 2021 big wedding. Both of those at the beautiful Tapestry House. Cortnee and her besties took advantage of my fall mini sessions at Sandstone Ranch. Then in the fall of 2022 I did another couple’s session and pregnancy announcement for them, along with their precious furbaby. We had to reschedule these Loveland maternity photos a few times, but it was definitely worth the wait! We lucked out with a gorgeous spring day at the Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park, along the Big Thompson River, just outside of Loveland.

Cortnee and Caleb are so excited to welcome their baby girl into the world very soon. Cortnee looks so beautiful pregnant…I knew she would! She wore three different outfits during her session. One that she provided, and two of the maternity dresses that I offer in my maternity “client closet”. Cortnee started in a simple black dress, with an off-white, lace kimono cardigan. A classic and beautiful choice! Next, she changed into one of my newer dresses. A cream colored, lace, off-the-shoulder maternity dress. It photographed almost peach in the golden sunlight. Regardless, it looked amazing on her and I was sure glad to finally have some sample images of this dress. The final dress she borrowed from me was a periwinkle, flutter top dress. Oops…I forgot to iron this or bring my anti-wrinkle spray. Gave myself a bunch more editing work. Darn it! Worth the extra editing though, Cortnee rocked it!

This is one of my favorites from their Loveland maternity photos. Such a sweet, tender moment, in a sunny, golden field. I just love it!

Thanks as always Cortnee and Caleb for allowing me to capture these photos for you. It’s always so wonderful working together! I look forward to eventually meeting your baby girl. I hope everything goes safely and smoothly with the delivery. There is no doubt in my mind that you will be awesome parents.
