This session was such a blast! I have captured friend photo sessions before, but this was the first time with adult women. Aly and Angelica were so full of energy, laughter, and joy! We met up at Chautauqua Park for this Boulder best friends portraits. We timed it well because we got beautiful some pink and white wildflowers, and everything was so green (for Colorado), compared to how these open fields usually look. I guess that’s a benefit to all of the rain we received this spring and early summer.
Aly and Angelica were open to anything I asked of them, and even had some ideas of their own. As we get older it’s harder and harder to maintain friendships because we are all so busy with careers and families. The truest and greatest of friends can pick up right where they left off though! I hope these two beauties will cherish and adore these photos for many years to come. A fun, easy going photo session like this was just what I needed smack dab in the middle of busy season. This was one of those photo sessions I will probably always remember and such a great reminder of why I love this job so much.
This is definitely one of my favorites from Aly and Angelica’s Boulder best friends portraits. I absolutely love these beautiful ladies, the amazing wildflowers (most of which are my brand colors for Plum Pretty Photography!), and the soft pink in the sky as the sun was setting.
They danced, they laughed, they skipped through mountain fields, and sat beneath the wildflowers…most importantly they made amazing memories! Thanks again Aly and Angelica, it was a true pleasure. Wishing you a lifetime of adventure and joy in your friendship together. Next up on the blog, the lovely Arriaga family. They were originally booked with me for their maternity photos, but that trip got postponed until it was safe for mama to travel. How lucky am I that it worked out that way though? Their baby boy is absolutely precious, check back soon to see those.
