Ishan – Class of 2024 | Breckenridge Colorado Senior Pictures | Skiing Photography Session

Ishan’s mom found me through my skiing portraits of Sarah. They really love skiing, and make it out to Colorado once or twice a year to hit the slopes as a family. They were staying in Vail during their visit and at first we were planning to do the session at the Vail Golf Club. But they let me know when they arrived that there wasn’t really any snow around. That’s so unusual that time of year at 8,100 feet! I had heard there was some snow at Sapphire Point. So I suggested it for Ishan’s Breckenridge Colorado senior pictures. While they hit some traffic and we got started later than planned, and there wasn’t any snow on the trees. I was still thrilled with the images we were able to capture.

Technically Ishan had four outfits. But some of them they just wanted a photo or two in. Those were some quick outfit changes! The majority of the photos were in the final outfit. That was a beige Patagonia jacket, a black shirt and charcoal gray jogger pants. We added multiple hats, ski goggles, and the rest of his skiing gear into his session. I just love incorporating props relating to senior clients’ sports or hobbies into their sessions. This makes the photos so unique and personal!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Ishan’s Breckenridge Colorado senior pictures. I love that snowy mountain scene, the gorgeous sun peeking through the trees, and the fun skiing props!

Thanks so much Ishan and family, it was a pleasure to meet and photograph you all. I hope these final months of senior year are unforgettable! High school will be over before you know it. Speaking of time flying…I can’t believe March is already here. My little guy turns 7 this month. I cannot even believe it! Anyway, I hope March is wonderful for you all.
