Emily and Brent have actually been married since 2019. But with covid, and their busy schedules in the military they finally got to have their big celebration. It was an amazing day…worth the 4 year wait! I am so excited to share their Pinery wedding photos today on the blog. I always love shooting at The Pinery at the Hill. It’s a stunning venue, with a plethora of great photo opps. This was my first winter wedding there, it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Although, the weather outside sure did not make it seem like winter! It was sunny, mild, and 50°. Emily and Brent really wanted a winter wonderland wedding day. They even did research and determined that December 30th was the date in December most likely to have snow. Thankfully, they are easy-going, and didn’t let it ruin their day at all!
There was so much to love about Emily and Brent’s wedding. They threw one heck of a party…the dance floor was packed and so fun to photograph! I loved Emily’s whole bridal look. From the comfy plaid pajamas she and the bridesmaids got ready in, to her gorgeous gown and pointe shoe inspired ballet flats. Her sapphire engagement ring, wintery bouquet, red lips, and fur shrug finished the look off perfectly. I also loved Brent’s and his groomsmen’s custom sunglasses. Such a fun touch! There was so much emotion and sweet moments during their wedding day as well. One that I just loved, was early in the afternoon, long before the guests arrived. My second shooter came across Brent and his mom practicing their mother-son dance. It was a lovely, candid moment, that I am sure they will cherish for years to come.
This is hands down my favorite image from Emily and Brent’s Pinery wedding photos. Maybe it’s the dancer in me?! But I just love a dancing image. The movement in Emily’s dress is gorgeous, and they look so full of love and joy!
Emily and Brent, it was such a pleasure to capture these wedding photos for you. I am so thrilled how they turned out, and I hope you will treasure them always 🙂 You guys are the sweetest! All of your guests were awesome too, and all of your wedding plans came together seamlessly. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together! Next week on the blog, the Laughlin’s Lyons family photos at Bohn Park. These are the clients I have worked with the most, and I have loved each and every one of our sessions together!
