Katy + Trevor | Colorado Anniversary Photography | Loveland Couples Photos

Today I am sharing Katy and Trevor’s Colorado anniversary photography session with Katy and Trevor. I had the pleasiure of capturing their engagement photos a few years ago. You can check those out HERE. I was so thrilled to hear from them again. This session was actually primarily extended family photos with Katy’s family. Her parents, brother, sister-and-law, and brand new niece. For privacy reasons, I have not shared the family photos. But we did some anniversary photos for these two cuties, and they were fine with me sharing. I always love working with these two. We were first connected when they were wedding guests at one of my clients’ weddings. I captured their amazing moves on the dance floor there! Then I captured a BFF session with Katy and two friends. And finally, their Longmont engagement session at Sandstone Ranch.

These extended family/anniversary photos were captured at Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park. This is always such a great location. It offers the river, some mountain views, open fields, lots of trees, some bridges, and even a funky metal sculpture. That sculpture wasn’t utilized during this particular session, but I usually do when clients want to. Katy and Trevor went simple with their outfits. They both wore dark denim. Trevor wore a slate gray polo shirt. While Katy wore a patterned tank top, in a similar gray blue color. We got some sweet and romantic couple’s portraits, but they had some fun too! They even ended up “monkeying around” by hanging from one of the bridges. I hope they continue to have this much fun together as their years together go on.

This is one of my favorites from Katy and Trevor’s Colorado anniversary photography session. I love this sweet cuddle, and the mountain river scene is so beautiful and colorful!
