The Ashley Family | Mini Session in Boulder | Colorado Family Photos

Welcome to my blog, friends! This was my first time meeting and photographing the Ashley family. Now, I do wish the weather had cooperated better during their mini session in Boulder. But we still managed to get a bunch of great shots. Nothing seemed too windblown on camera thankfully! This is such a beautiful, young family. I really hope to have future opportunities to work together as well. And I hope they loved their mini session images. Maybe next time the weather will cooperate a lot better, and hopefully their youngest will be feeling his very best. But family photography with young kids is always unpredictable. We had to embrace the candid, joyful moments.

I loved the outfits mama Melissa put together for her adorable family. She wore a navy blue sweater dress and camel colored tall boots. Her three guys all looked so nice in their fall sweaters in orange, khaki and olive green. Their outfits coordinated very well without looking too “matchy”. This is definitely one of my favorites from the Ashley’s family mini session in Boulder. I love the sweet candid moment and the non-traditional pose. The golden, mountain field during fall isn’t a bad view either!

Thanks so much Ashley family. It was wonderful to meet and photograph you all. I would love to have your sweet faces in front of my lens again someday.
