I love photographing a lot of different subjects, but senior/modeling photos are among my favorites! Diana is a former dance student of mine, and she was needing to update her modeling/headshot photos for some upcoming dance auditions. She was one of the very first people in front of my camera, back when we did her senior pictures. It was really fun to photograph her again…she is as gorgeous and sweet as ever! We decided to do a city/urban backdrop for her photos. We started at Commons Park, a place I love for Denver senior photos, modeling sessions, and engagement sessions alike.
Diana was a trooper! It was pretty darn cold out, and she was up for anything (even standing in the snow in high heels). Some people cannot hide being cold in photos, but she was an absolute pro! I was cold in my puffy jacket, gloves and Uggs, I knew she must have been frozen! As I was editing, I kept noticing the goosebumps on her arms in some of the photos. She hid it well though! If there wasn’t snow on the ground in some of the photos, you probably wouldn’t even know it was the middle of winter in Colorado.
Diana, it was so wonderful catching up with you again! I am so proud that you are continuing to pursue your passion for dance 🙂 Best of luck at your auditions. Hopefully I will see you out on the field/court at a Denver sporting event soon!
