I met up with Lindsay & Billy near Commons Park for their Downtown Denver engagement photos. Since this time of year isn’t particularly colorful, the couple opted to do something a little different. They decided they wanted sunset and nighttime engagement photos. While we didn’t get the dramatic sunset we had hoped for, we had a great time hanging out downtown, until the snow started…and we were frozen! We almost didn’t even stop at Larimer Square, because parking was crazy and the snow had started really coming down. I am SO glad that we did, these are some of my favorite photos from the session!
The ferris wheel at Six Flags Elitch Gardens was all lit up, and looked really pretty in the background.
The Colorado state capitol building looked beautiful at night!
Lindsay & Billy nailed the “lift” shot…we did a lot of them 🙂
Pretty lights, gorgeous couple, snow falling…swoon!!
We only had about 20 seconds to get this shot! We ran into opposite crosswalks, waited for other pedestrians to cross, I did some rapid firing, and then we ran before the light changed. I think it was worth it 🙂
Thanks Lindsay & Billy, I had a great time spending this chilly, snowy evening with you! Wishing you a beautiful wedding day and a lifetime of happiness!
xoxo,
Melissa
What a fun shoot!! I love the shot in front of the traffic!
I just love all the night photos!
We are very happy with our photos!!! Thank you for making everything so wonderful despite the crazy weather and poor Billy being sick!
Fantastic photos! You did a great job capturing the special parts of Denver and the beauty of the couple. Congrats to Lindsay to Billy!
LOVE the one in the middle of the street! Beautiful! !
