Kimberly + Ian | Lyons Wedding Photographer | Lionscrest Manor Wedding

Kimberly & Ian had a gorgeous Lionscrest Manor wedding..full of laughter, energy & silly, fun moments!  I love couples that have fun together, and these two definitely do.  Their family and friends were a fun bunch too.  There was a ton of dancing, jumping on the beds, the making of a music video, and several choreographed dances.  Kimberly is a dancer (we have several mutual dance friends and that is how she found me!), so dance is an important part of her life and was incorporated throughout their wedding day.  The couple danced down the aisle, danced for their grand entrance into their reception, did a choreographed first dance, and the reception ended with an awesome dance party.  It was seriously such a fun wedding, I wish my own wedding had been such a great dance party 🙂

I met up with Kimberly & Ian at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, where they had some pre-wedding pampering before heading to Lionscrest Manor.  Lionscrest Manor is a venue I have been to many times, and I love it every time!  They really know how to do weddings there 🙂  The staff is excellent and the views are spectacular!  Although the day was windy off and on (especially when we were up on the edge of a cliff), it was a truly beautiful and emotional day!

Kimberly surprised her groom with a little pre-wedding pampering.  I like to call it a MANicure 🙂

The couple are big Vikings fans (thus the purple and yellow color palette), the garter was one of the Vikings details incorporated in their big day.

I know I have said it before (and I will say it again)…I love when couples do a first look!  They are always such sweet, private moments between the couple.  Kimberly & Ian were very emotional.  I love all the tears, so tender and beautiful!

Adam Fusion Films did a music video during Kimberly & Ian’s wedding day.  This was a behind-the-scenes moment during filming LOL!

They were a really fun, goofy group!

This one cracks me up for some reason!  We took the road less traveled and poor Kim had to limbo under trees, walk on rocks in her heels, and dodge cacti…all while the wind was fiercely blowing!

Another Vikings detail…peeking out of the back of the wedding cake!  Colorado Rose Cake Company always does an AMAZING job!

The couple did a really fun reception kissing game.  Couples names were drawn out of a basket, by the dj.  The chosen couple kissed, and then the bride and groom had to impersonate the couple’s kiss.  It was absolutely hysterical!

Kimberly & Ian were very animated during the wedding toasts.  They gave just about every expression imaginable!

During the middle of their slow, first dance, the couple broke out in a choreographed dance.  Kim nailed it (of course…she’s a dancer), but Ian blew me away!  He did an amazing job with the dance, and guests loved it.

And then even I got out on the dance floor!  I use to dance with a lot of these girls on the Colorado Eagles Chicks dance team.  The dj played “Cotton Eyed Joe”, so we all got out on the floor and busted out one of our old routines LOL!

Wedding favors were really cute little trees.  This was such a cute idea, and a favor that will help guests remember the day for years to come!

And then the couple did their grand exit while guests waved colorful noise-makers!

Thank you Kimberly & Ian for allowing me to celebrate with you on your beautiful,  joyous wedding!  You are such a fun couple, and I had a blast photographing your day.  Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, laughs…and a lot of dancing!
