Alyssa + Dustin | Colorado Mountain Engagement Photos | Davidson Mesa

Alyssa and Dustin are getting married in just 3 days!!  I am super excited to photograph them again, they are so cute together 🙂  They are also really sweet and fun to work with!  Alyssa was the maid-of-honor at Alli and Carlos’ wedding last summer.  I was so happy to hear from her when she got engaged!  They are having a spring wedding at Wedgewood Event Center, in the gorgeous Boulder Canyon area.

We headed to Davidson Mesa Open Space for their Colorado mountain engagement photos.  We had a pretty crazy start to their session!  The GPS struggles to find the entrance to the park and they were driving around trying to find me for quite awhile.  Then, shortly before they arrive I realize I didn’t have any memory cards with me.  I hate to admit to making a mistake like this (and I have never done that before), but we are all human right?!  I had recently returned from an out-of-state workshop and my cards never made it back into my bag…whoopsie!!  I ran to Target as quickly as I could to buy a couple of cards.  Needless to say, we got started a little later than planned.  This is why their session continued after sunset 🙂  They loved the photos, I loved the photos…it all ended up great!  And I will triple check that I bring everything I need to their wedding!
