I am having so much fun with these “From the Archives” posts! It’s great to relive all these wonderful memories 🙂 This next post is Kimberly and Ian’s downtown Denver engagement pictures from a few years back. We had such an amazing time at their session. We walked all over downtown, near the Millennium Bridge, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and various stairwells, bridges, benches, and cool walls around the area. After this, we headed over near the Broncos stadium where there is a random block of brightly painted buildings. That was the only time I had been over to that location, I hope nobody has painted those fun buildings since then!
I think Kimberly wins the award for the most outfits during an engagement session 😉 Every outfit was beautiful, though. I don’t blame her for wanting to get photos in all of them! I am such a sucker for color. So, between the colorful outfits, and the colorful walls…I was a happy photographer! These days Kimberly is living a dream, and performing as a Denver Nuggets Dancer! I am so proud of her. As a former dancer myself, and having tried out for the Nuggets many years ago too, I really admire her dedication. She didn’t give up on her dream, and this season her hard work paid off! Their photos are a little more “posey” then some of my other sessions. Since she is a professional dancer, it fits this couple…and they rocked it!
They totally improvised this jump shot LOL…these two crack me up!
I love how the sun flare makes a partial circle around them!
Thanks for stopping by! I am so excited to see Chelsea and Shawn tie the knot tomorrow. I really hope mother nature treats us well, she has been a bit of a grump lately LOL!
