Alyssa + Dustin | Boulder Wedding Photography | Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center

Alyssa & Dustin are one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of photographing 🙂  Alyssa was the maid-of-honor at Carlos & Alli’s 2014 wedding, and I was so honored when she wanted me as her wedding photographer, as well!  Alyssa & Dustin’s Boulder wedding photography took place at one of Boulder’s newest venues, Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center.  Wedgewood is right along the Boulder Creek, in the beautiful Boulder Canyon.  I had been to this location many years ago, when it was the Red Lion Inn, but this was my first time shooting a wedding there.  Wow, did they luck out with an amazingly warm day!  March in Colorado can be very unpredictable…they could have had a foot of snow!  Instead, it was a sunny, spring day in the Colorado mountains, and the ceremony was held outdoors, right above the creek 🙂

Alyssa & Dustin laughed the entire day (except for a few tears during their emotional ceremony)!  Dustin had some of the most amazing vows I have ever heard from a groom.  He treasures Alyssa, and I look forward to watching their love grow for many years to come.  We are already planning a shoot in 2016 (eeeeek!!), and I cannot wait to work with them again!  They are complete naturals in front of the camera.  Then add in how much fun they have together, and it always equals a successful couple’s photo session 🙂

Alyssa had a stunning dress, and it fit her like a glove!  Thanks to my 2nd shooter, Sharee for getting the dress up there!

Then, Alyssa did a first look with her dad…it was very sweet!

Ahhh…the selfie stick!  It definitely played a big role in many 2015 weddings 🙂

There were few dry eyes during the ceremony!

Even though there were a lot of tears during their Boulder wedding ceremony, there were even more laughs!!

Well, since I posted a silly expression from Alyssa already…it’s only fair to post one of Dustin too LOL!!  They have the best facial expressions 😉

This is one of my favorite candid walking shots…they are just so genuinely happy!!
