Oooook…are you ready for this one?! This has got to be one of the most fun engagement sessions I have ever photographed! Rachel and I chatted a ton before the shoot, trying to figure out the perfect location. We couldn’t decide, so we did several locations, several props, and several outfits! They definitely had no shortage of photos, and it was such a blast 🙂 This inspirational Denver engagement photography session included photos at the Tattered Cover Bookstore, a picnic in Washington Park, riding on bikes by the water, bread and wine at a French restaurant, and then some kissing under the lights of Larimer Square. Like most sessions in 2015, the rain made an appearance, but at least it doesn’t last long…and we even got a rainbow while at the park!
We started Rachel & Kevin’s Denver engagement photos at the Tattered Cover Bookstore. They were super nice about allowing us to take photos in the store. There were a ton of people, and not many places to sit for the photos, but we made due and it turned out awesome! Since they wanted a slightly Parisian feel to the shoot, we spent some time in the travel section at the bookstore, and then later we enjoyed some wine at Bistro Vendôme. The restaurant employees were equally as nice about letting us shoot there 🙂
I told Rachel to whisper something in Kevin’s ear, and get him to blush…I love his reaction LOL! I wonder what she said 😉
The Tattered Cover engagement photos were a wrap, so we headed over to Wash Park (even though we didn’t know if the rain would hold out)!
He’s her king, and she’s his queen!
You know I can’t go to Larimer Square without getting a photo in this intersection 😉 Loved Rachel & Kevin’s version!
Can’t wait to share Rachel & Kevin’s wedding with you too…just 3 months worth of weddings and portrait sessions to share with you first! Have a wonderful weekend. GO BRONCOS!!!!
xoxo,
Melissa
