Wow, a new month is upon us…how did that happen already?! It’s going to be super busy, but a very fun month indeed. I am photographing 2 full-day weddings this month, as well as a short courthouse ceremony. The courthouse wedding is for our dear friends (the groom, Jeff, was one of the groomsmen at our wedding). Honestly, I am a teeny bit nervous because I have never photographed, nor attended, a courthouse wedding. I am sure it will be great though 🙂 After they tie the knot at a Denver courthouse, we will all head to Vegas to celebrate. I will be capturing some photos for them during the whole wedding weekend. Before our trip I am trying to get as much work done as possible, including making a significant dent in blogging…33 more posts on the calendar to share with you all! The first blog post for May is Rachel and Kevin’s beautiful Lower Lake Ranch wedding in Pine, Colorado. Oh how I loved photographing at this venue! I hope to go back very soon. So, if you are getting married here, I would absolutely love to chat with you about your wedding day photography needs.
Rachel and Kevin were a wonderful couple to work with. You might remember their Denver engagement photos, that was definitely one of my favorite engagement sessions to date! I was so excited to work with them again to capture their wedding day photos. I knew their wedding would be beautiful, classy and fun, just like them. Their Lower Lake Ranch wedding did not disappoint. While the wedding day was not without a few hiccups…it was a truly magical day, and I hope the photos portray that magic, beauty, and love. Some of my favorite moments from their wedding day were Rachel’s stunning bridal attire, from the custom made bridal heels, to the classic fur shawl, to the 2 (yes 2!) beautiful wedding dresses, she was a classy, fabulous bride! Also, I just loved their picturesque, outdoor Colorado ceremony. There was an amazing mountain view, the soothing sounds of the creek, a neat unity tree ceremony, and lots of emotion and tears of joy.
We couldn’t have him see his bride before their first look LOL! This wasn’t the way it was supposed to happen, but the two compartment bus was no longer available to transport them all to the venue.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by my blog. I still have a handful of 2016 dates available if you are looking for someone to capture your own unique Colorado wedding photos 🙂 I have also started booking some wonderful 2017 weddings…it will be here before we know it! What else is coming to the blog this week? Another Colorado family photography session, and a beautiful winter maternity session in Evergreen. I hope you will check back soon!
