The Lowery Family | Boulder Family Photos | Davidson Mesa Open Space

Well, well…another Monday is upon us (sigh)!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and I hope all the mothers out there had a fantastic mother’s day.  I spent a few hours with my own wonderful mother, and got her a few little things, including an adult coloring book and some flowers.  I am so lucky to have such a great mom, and hope she had a nice little break yesterday.  Speaking of great moms…here is Tracy, and her beautiful family.  If you have followed my work for awhile, you will definitely recognize this family.  I have photographed the Lowery family at least 5 times now, over the past few years.  It’s always fun to catch up with them, and see how the kids have grown and changed 🙂  They always have the best outfits too, so it’s exciting to see what they will be wearing!  At the end of 2015 I met up with them at Davidson Mesa Open Space, to capture their Boulder family photos.  Davidson Mesa is actually on the outskirts of Boulder, near Louisville.  It is a little bit of a hidden gem, but I have photographed there many times over the years, and it never disappoints.  It has pretty views of the flatirons, wide open fields, and a cute little lake across the street.  We were blessed with a gorgeous, sunny Colorado afternoon.  At the time I was moving out of my house of the past 8 years, so it was so nice to get out into the sunshine for a little while.  The mounds of bubble wrap, packaging tape, cleaning supplies, and cardboard boxes were waiting for me when I got back though LOL!  It was all worth it, now that we are all settled into our new home in Firestone.  I hope you enjoy the photos of the Lowery clan, and will consider me for your own Colorado family photos.
