Katrina + Brian | Ft. Collins Engagement Photography | Brewery Engagement Photos

Hey there July!  It’s probably my favorite month of the year…my wedding anniversary, my birthday, 4th of July, and lots of beautiful, sunny weather 🙂  The first blog post of the new month is a good one!  Katrina and Brian’s Ft. Collins engagement photography session was easily one of my favorites from last fall.  I love when couples want something unique and personal for their photos.  Starting their session at Equinox Brewing was just that.  And having a couple of beers makes the photos much more tolerable LOL!  Just kidding, I like to think that I always make the photos pretty painless (even for my grooms).  The beer helps calm the nerves at least though.  The folks at Equinox were even nice enough to let us take some photos with the brewing equipment.  I just love how Katrina’s red dress stands out against all of the shiny stainless steel.

After a few drinks, and lots of kisses and cuddling, we wanted to capture some of the colorful changing leaves too.  We continued their fall Fort Collins engagement photos over at Legacy Park.  I had scouted out this location years ago, but this was my first time actually shooting there.  There was a lot of variety with open fields, large trees, a bridge and a shallow stream.  We had pretty perfect weather too…it was an amazing Colorado afternoon!  I cannot wait to photograph this awesome couple again next month at their ski resort wedding.  They are just the sweetest, and obviously have a wonderful, natural chemistry.
