Kira-Class of 2019 | Longmont Colorado Senior Photographs | Silver Creek High School

Holy cow is it insanely windy today! It is definitely the windiest I have ever seen since living in Firestone. I need to run to the store, too, but my weather app continues to say “dangerously windy”. So it’s just not worth taking my little man out yet, to run errands. The day I captured Longmont Colorado senior photographs for the lovely miss Kira was also a windy day. But today makes that day seem completely calm! So despite the slight breeze on this day, what an amazingly gorgeous fall day it turned out to be. I had Kira meet me at Hall Ranch, just outside of Lyons. I had drove past this location so many times over the years, and I am really glad to have finally shot here. It is a really beautiful Boulder County location! There are some red rock formations, mountain views, flowers, and even colorful trees during the fall season.

I had such a great time working with this young lady. Kira is wrapping up her junior at Silver Creek High School in Longmont. She keeps very busy dancing with the competitive dance team, Starbound, at Dance Dimensions. If you have followed me for awhile, you probably remember that I also grew up dancing at Dance Dimensions. I was in the Starbound company throughout high school. Then, I even taught classes at Dance Dimensions from 2001-2009. Some of my best childhood and teenage memories come from Dance Dimensions, it has a special place in my heart. So I always love every opportunity to work with this current dance generation 🙂

I just love how sunny and snuggly this one looks! It’s probably my favorite from these Longmont Colorado senior photographs.
