Meet the Lear family! They were visiting our beautiful, Colorado mountains in November. They wanted to have some picturesque, snowy photos before the holidays. So they hired Plum Pretty Photography as their Breckenridge family photographers. For their session we met up at the always popular, Sapphire Point Overlook. It was a slightly foggy winter afternoon, which made it a tiny bit challenging to show off all of our majestic mountain views. But there were still nice views, and things cleared soon enough. As they say…if you don’t like the weather in Colorado, wait 5 minutes 😉 The major positive with the overcast skies, however, was that we could shoot in any and all directions without having the sun in people’s eyes.
After spending some time at Sapphire Point and slowly moving between that trail’s locations, being sure no one slipped in the snowy and icy conditions, we got back in the cars. We quickly warmed up and traveled a few minutes down the road to the Windy Point Campground. These two spots are my most popular locations in the Breckenridge area for family portraits. They are both stunning, super close to each other, and have a slightly different look to give some nice variety to the photos. Thanks Lear family! I hope you enjoyed your snowy vacation and these photos bring back happy memories of your trip, for many years to come 🙂
We definitely had a lot of fun too! I just love this shot of them all tossing snowballs towards the camera 🙂
