I have had the privilege of knowing Courtney for many years. She is very close friends with my sister-in-law, Michelle. I was so honored to be selected as her and Justin’s Stonewall Farm wedding photographer. What a gorgeous wedding it was! Courtney and Justin had a lot of great wedding details. The wedding was full of fluffy white and pink hydrangeas and peonies, candlelight, and just the right amount of sparkle. I especially loved the floral monogram floating in the pool 🙂 Guests loved seeing Courtney arrive for the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage, the canvas painting unity ceremony, photos with Justin’s classic car, and the al fresco dinner.
I really love doing engagement photos for my wedding couples, but sometimes it doesn’t happen. It can be a little nerve-wracking not knowing how a couple works together in front of the camera, until their wedding day. I didn’t have an opportunity to work with these two beforehand (and actually didn’t meet Justin until the day of!), but it worked out perfectly. They were total naturals in front of the camera. When you have such great chemistry, and take direction super well, there won’t be any awkwardness in sight! And it helps that Courtney and Justin both have the most infectious smiles.
This arbor with the flowing fabric, and beautiful chandelier, is the perfect backdrop for the first official kiss as man and wife!
You know me…I love a long, cathedral veil! Courtney’s looked beautiful in the photos. Although, it had a little bit of a mind of it’s own during their breezy ceremony 😉
