The Miller family is another lovely family that I had the pleasure of photographing this past summer. For their Summit County family photos we met up at Sapphire Point Overlook. If you follow the blog, you know I shoot here a TON! Unfortunately, the weather was not as cooperative with us on this afternoon, as it usually is. Luckily we got in about 20 minutes of really gorgeous light and colors before the sky opened up and poured on us! We thought about relocating or waiting it out, but the rain had messed up the ladies’ hair and got water spots on their clothing. So we slightly hesitantly called it a wrap!
I know they were a little disappointed in the length of the session. Although shorter than normal, I think we still got some really beautiful shots during their Summit County family photos. The sky looked incredible, the trees so green, and the mountains incredibly blue. I wish the colors looked this vibrant every time I visited Sapphire Point…so at least there was that! The Millers are such a gorgeous and courteous family, visiting from Georgia. These kids were such characters, but just the cutest little kids.
Even got their furbaby looking…now that’s a good looking family!
And I am out of HERE!!!! LOL 🙂 This one just cracks me up!
This little chipmunk really wanted to join in on the family photography fun!
You can see just a few of those initial raindrops in the photo on the right. It really opened up as we ran back for the cars!

Thank you Miller family! I hope you enjoyed your visit to our beautiful state. And I hope you will cherish these photos, always. I don’t know about you all, but I am sure glad January is over. It was not a great month for us. Plus, it basically felt like it was 67 days long lol! Hoping February is a much better month 🙂
