Jenny found my business on Instagram, and I am so glad she did! I had such a blast with these two, and their fun group. When they mentioned going to Garden of the Gods, as well as the Penny Arcade, I knew we were going to have a great time. And I knew we would get a lot of variety in their photos. We started Jenny and Erick’s big day at the Pinery at the Hill, for their wedding day preparations. These two are huge Broncos fans, so they were sure to tune in to the game at every chance they got! Such big fans, in fact, that their wedding colors were blue and orange! It was so tastefully done too, and looked amazing 🙂
Some of my favorite parts of Jenny and Erick’s wedding were when they put their Broncos jerseys on over their wedding attire. Like I said…true, diehard fans! Playing skeeball on their wedding day was really unique. Their personalized Jenga game wedding guestbook, and gorgeous, simple mountain wedding cake, were wonderful details. Lastly, their easy-going, fun-loving personalities that made the entire day a true pleasure to photograph! I would absolutely love to work with you guys again in the future.
Then Jenny shared some emotional and sweet “first looks” with the three most important guys in her life. Her dad, her brother, and her handsome groom!
Are you planning your own wedding at the Pinery at the Hill or Garden of the Gods Club? I would love to chat with you about your wedding day photography needs!
Not everyone makes time to go play skeeball on their wedding day! How fun is this?! It was super busy, and hard to pack us all in this tight space. But we sure got some cute ones too 🙂
We were a teensy bit late getting back to the venue for the ceremony. Thankfully Jenny and Erick were immediately ready to start the ceremony, so their guests didn’t have to wait long for their entrance. This was the first of my Pinery weddings where the ceremony was set up like this. Jenny, Erick, the bridal party, and families were all outdoors on the balcony. While the majority of their guests were indoors.
I have seen many versions of this photo before, but I have never had a couple request it. This, however, was on their list of top 5 “must have” shots. I was worried it was going to take forever in photoshop, but actually went quite easily, once I found the right dino for the job lol! This really brought out their fun-loving personalities that I was talking about…what characters!!
Wedding day…and a Broncos win!! Woo hoo!!
Thanks so much Jenny and Erick for allowing me to capture your Colorado Springs wedding photos. Wishing you all the best in your future life together. If you continue to have fun together, like you did on your wedding day, you are going to have so many amazing, joyful memories! And hopefully we have tons more Broncos Super Bowl wins in our future too! Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday all 🙂

Beautiful couple, beautiful setting.
What a great day. Blessed to be a part of it!
