Happy St. Patty’s day! I hope you are enjoying some corned beef and green beer today 😉 Meet Shea, a senior at Frederick High School this year. She is the last of my senior rep team to grace my blog. I have since had another great fall session with her. You will want to check back for that one too…we had the most stunning sunset for that session, I am still swooning over it! For Shea’s urban Frederick Colorado senior photography session we met up in Prospect New Town. She and her mom loved all of the colorful walls and homes. It ended up being the perfect location for her session. There is no doubt that I love color too. So this location is always a great choice in my opinion.
Shea made some great outfit choices for her session. She went simple with the colors, which was perfect with all of the colorful backdrops I posed her in front of. She is definitely a stylish girl. I especially loved the ripped denim skirt and jeans. My dad always jokes with me, “did you pay a lot of money for those rips?”! He just doesn’t understand fashion 😉 Shea went simple with the accessories and shoes, and it completed her looks beautifully. I even brought along my new (at the time) pop-up changing tent. This is so useful for outfit changes on the go. We didn’t have to find a restroom for her to change in, and we were so far away from the cars at this point. So, while the tent was super convenient for us, we spent ENTIRELY too much time trying to figure out how to re-fold the darn thing. Shea’s mom finally got it…thank you, thank you! Since then, when I use it, I have to throw it in my car and have my husband re-fold it later. I need to figure that thing out already LOL!
Shea has a beautiful smile, but she sure nails that sassy model face too! This is one of my favorites of her Frederick Colorado senior photography session 🙂
16 completely different backdrops during one Frederick Colorado senior photography session…that’s pretty awesome! Hopefully you can understand why I like Prospect so much 🙂 Plus, it’s only about 20 minutes from my house, so extremely convenient. It’s my go to location for urban Longmont senior portraits. I have never seen another photographer there, which is always nice too. Sharing the space can be challenging sometimes! Here is a throwback to another edgy senior session I did in Prospect awhile back.
Coming to the blog next, Ashley & Matt’s Red Rocks wedding photos. One of their images just placed in the top 10% of the Shoot & Share photography competition too! Have a safe and fun St. Patrick’s Day! I think I will stay away from the green beer, and go grab some nutritious green juice instead 😉
