Meet Amber! She is a lovely class of 2019 senior that I had the pleasure of getting in front of my lens this past fall. For her Mead senior photos we met at the always popular Golden Ponds Nature Area. Firstly, we snapped some quick family photos with her older sister and parents. After that, we focused the majority of our time on the soon-to-be graduate, Amber. Celebrating this special time in her young life! After high school Amber plans to go into education. She thought likely she would attend the University of Northern Colorado. UNC is where my twin sister went to college, and she really liked it there. Amber, I hope you will as well 🙂
Golden Ponds was a great location for Amber’s senior pictures. There is a lot of variety within a close proximity….a small waterfall, a bridge, stream, some distant mountain views, lots of colorful trees, and wooden fences. It’s definitely one of Longmont’s best photo locations. And this session came right after an early season snow storm. So there was even a little bit of snow in some of the photos. Amber and her family knew they wanted this location, from their initial inquiry. So that made it super easy on me! No mulling over locations, or no need for me to drive all over scouting photo spots. In short, it all worked out beautifully!

This is definitely one of my favorite from Amber’s Mead senior photos. I so love the golden sunlight shining through, the red, purple and yellows in the background trees, and her soft, genuine smile!

Thank you Amber and family, I had a great time meeting and photographing you all. I hope you enjoy your beautiful canvas print for many years to come. Amber, I know your future will be so very bright! Enjoy college, and all of your future endeavors. I am sure you will be an amazing educator. We need lots of great teachers to guide the future generations (like my own kiddo!).
Another of my favorite fall Golden Ponds senior sessions, can be found HERE. Similarly, Sophie rocked her photo shoot! She is loving college life at the University of Arizona. It’s been fun to keep in touch on social media 🙂 Speaking of social media…are you following along with Plum Pretty Photography’s accounts? I share all of my most recent work there. Therefore, check me out on Facebook and Instagram!
Coming to the blog next, Sadie and Fabian’s winter Garden of the Gods maternity photos. What a gorgeous couple and location…check back soon!
